The history is already there. Let's make it usable.

Your program's past,
built for its future.

Records should do more than sit in a box.

A great archive helps today's athletes understand what came before them. It gives alumni a way back in, coaches a trustworthy record book, and communities a history they can actually explore.

One partner for the whole archive.

Start with one missing season or build a complete program platform. The work scales to the history you have and the outcome you want.

01

Find the history

Research authorized historical collections, official result systems, school archives and public records. Every useful source is documented so the finished archive stays auditable.

02

Clean the data

Resolve name variants, duplicate results, changing event formats, relay lineups, hand times, field marks and historical race distances.

03

Build the platform

Create a responsive, branded home for results, records, athlete pages, program history and the features that matter to your organization.

04

Keep it current

Add new seasons, correct old records, import official results and maintain the platform as your archive grows.

See the idea in action at OtsegoDistance.

OtsegoDistance.com shows what happens when decades of cross country and track history become one connected, public resource.

The platform can grow with the archive.

All-time performance lists and record books
Athlete profiles, personal bests and rankings
Meet results, team scores and season summaries
Rosters, schedules, coaches and program milestones
Relay members, field attempts and event-specific data
Documented sources and retrieval notes for collected data
Responsive design for phone, tablet and desktop

A planning view at today's proposed annual rate, not a multi-year commitment or rate guarantee.

A few things worth knowing.

What will I receive from the $450 assessment?

A preliminary findings workbook with source citations, an activity and coverage report, unresolved gaps, and a recommendation for the next phase. We agree on one school, one sport and up to five seasons. It is a defined investigation, not a promise of complete coverage or a minimum number of discoveries.

Can I buy research without a website—or a website without research?

Yes. Research can be delivered as structured data with source documentation. A website launch can start from your existing records with an agreed import. If you need both, the estimator combines their starting prices; research is not already included in the website setup fee.

What does annual care cover?

Hosting, HTTPS, monitoring, backups, software and security updates, and limited support within the service agreement. Routine new-season data entry, additional research and major custom features are separate projects. The proposed care fee is $750 per year, billed annually.

How do proposals, payment and ownership work?

After a conversation, you receive a written scope with deliverables, milestones, payment terms and export/cancellation details. Proposed terms are upfront payment for an assessment, 50%/50% for research, and 40%/40%/20% for website implementation. Those terms are confirmed in your agreement before work begins. Your domain and data export arrangements are documented there; an inquiry creates no commitment.

How are sources and gaps handled?

We work from authorized sources, retain references and retrieval notes, and distinguish verified findings from unresolved questions. Research uses AI-assisted processing with human review. Access and permissions are reviewed before agreeing to source-dependent work. Newspaper scans, articles and photographs are not included for republication. If essential sources are unavailable, we discuss revised scope or an appropriate credit/refund.

You don't need a perfect archive to start.

Bring the folders, spreadsheets, links and questions you already have. We'll identify the gaps and shape a practical first phase.

  1. 1
    Tell us what exists

Share the sport, organization, source material and outcome you have in mind.

  2. 2
    Review the possibilities

We'll discuss priorities, access, timing and the best starting point.

  3. 3
    Approve a clear scope

You receive a written proposal before research, platform work or billing begins.

What history can we help you bring back?

Tell us a little about your school, organization or program. This is an inquiry, not a purchase or commitment.
